okay i had sex unprotected 2 weeks ago i went for a pap smear today.
if i was pregnant could he have been able to tell when he did my pap?

okay for all of you dumb asses saying WHY DIDNT YOU ASK HIM TODAY ?
im 16 and i already have a 6 month old so yea i was kinda freaked out!

There is a possibility that he would have noticed because if you recal he had his hand inside and he pushed on your belly right? Well that was to check the size of your uterus, if it is infact enlarged, as well as other things in your pelvic area. Also he would have been able to see your cervix which would have been brighter if infact you are pregnant due to an increase in blood supply. BUT if you just got pregnant your uterus may not have grown much due to the shortness of time but your cervix should still be brighter. You should ask for birth control pills...one so that you don't get pregnant again and 2 because he will have to do a pregnancy test first so boom then you will know!
No it isn't common to have a miscarrage from a pap done in your 1st trimester. That never causes miscarriages in fact most doctors will do that and intravaginal ultrasounds in your first trimester if you are having any problems in an effort to AVOID misscarrages. (that is what someone else said)

Girl Im 17 and I already have a one year old and Im pregnant again. If I needed a pregnancy test I would have asked no matter how embarrased I was. You should know from your first child that prenatal care from the beginning is crucial for keeping your baby healthy. He wont be able to tell from your pap smear that you were pregnant. For paps they take cells to check for cancer and the only way to know if your pregnant is from Urine test, blood test, or ultrasound. Good luck hon, and email me if you need someone to chat with.

No he wouldn't have been able to tell if you were pregnant... but it is very common to have a miscarriage when getting a pap done during the 1st trimester (3 months)... especially if the doctor didnt know that you might be.. he probably wasnt trying to avoid that area... it wouldnt come up in the results because he is testing for STI's not pregnancy.... take a test if you miss your period

OK sweety, Don't stress about it in case you are just run to wal-mart and by a pregnancy test because you should already know about the hole ovulating bit you only ovulate 14 -15 days after you starting day of your peiod so you should be starting soon if it has been that long just run and get a test you should be ok

No not if your 2 weeks pregnant. Plus he didn't know he was looking for pregancy. You need to take a test EPT ar get your blood drawn

no probably not yet it takes a while at least a month before your cervix change. also they can change right before your period also. the best way to find out is a blood test .
