Not a chance. Tom Brady is a product of a good offensive system. He is not that great a QB.

Anything can happen in the NFL, especially with this new season coming up on us rather quickly. Tom Brady could have an amazng year and get the award. However, looking at most likely candidates, Brady falls short of a few players:

Shaun Alexander (could repeat)
Steve Smith (he is too darn scary)
Larry Johnson (short season last year, monster stats regardless)
Peyton Manning (obvious runner at the beginning)
Brian Urlacher (he's been nominated before)

Brady has a chance like many other players, but he has to stand out as an individual as well as be the consummate team player. The Patriots are much more team oriented, so individual achievement is not as highly looked upon with that organization.

No. Tom Brady is considered a great QB becasue of the great team around him. Don't get me wrong, he is a good QB. But any good QB could function well in the team he has around him.

that's the beauty of the NFL. You never can truly accuratly predict the stars and flops, winners and losers at the beginning of the year. THere will always be someone who surprises and someone who flops so who knows...
