Gilmore Girls. My friend got me hooked and now I watch religiously. The show is hilarious and sweet at the same time. 7th Heaven I like only because of Kevin. Otherwise, definitely Gilmore Girls. I can't wait for next season. I want Rory to to go after Logan but I'm debating who should end up with Lorelei- Chris who's she loved forever or Luke who's waited for her for 9 years. So hard!

I've seen every episode of both shows (those are two of the only shows I watch) and after having done this I have to say:
Gilmore girls.
7th Heaven is my 2nd favorite show, but Gilmore girls is my all time favorite. I just like the characters, actors, plots, writing etc. more on Gilmore girls...
Don't get me started though; I'm obsessed with Gilmore girls. Lol

Gilmore Girls.
I enjoy the show. I think it is a little more believable than 7th Heaven. The drama, the comedy, the one liners are all hilarious. It is new and original.
I just really don't like 7th Heaven.
Everyone says it is so good for the family to sit down and watch, but all they talk about recently is sex and it seems to be a repetitive cycle the Camdens help a kid out, they have another kid (but now Annie and Eric have gotten too old to bear children so instead they have grandchildren...) They support children like it is going out of style. They have 7 kids plus the grandkids and the other kids that don't have a place to go. I was hoping its tenth season would be its finale, but apparently, Sarah, Lucy, and Mary are miraculously pregnant with twins each...

Gilmore girls. Because...
*The script is much more original and charismatic. The jokes and lines are hilarious and unique, something seldom seen on 7th Heaven.
*Gilmore GIrls doesn't try to do too much. 7th Heaven crammed so many characters and plots in that it became dull, and hard to focus.
*Many of 7th Heaven's episodes are similar: someone in need, suicidal, family troubles, the show is very preachy. It became repetitive.

gilmore girls... cute, light drama, you can totally go with the plot. while 7th heaven... boring characters.
