Good question! See, things doesn't run on logic at all these days!

Because ummm... this is so hard to answer umm.. okay here we go it's because a DOG is an animal and a CHILD is a HUMAN!!!!! Did you ever think about that dogs are like any other animals. Or when dogs run the world they would have to have license to own us maybe huh... i am not mean or anything it's just simple .

Really? For my dog; my county requires me to buy a license in order to control pet population. For, every child I had, a birth certification was required.
Fortunately, I live in America and not China and there is records but no control over human population.

If you own a dog, the state wants their $$ for rabies and vaccines, and that little tag is indicitive of you doing your duty, also , they get more $$ out of you for owning one, whether it's yearly, or every 2 years.
Your child doesn't need rabies shots or vaccines, and isn't considered property, like a dog is. A child is easier to trace back to his/her parents, too. the parent is usually right there.
According to the law, humans are on a higher scale than the dogs. if a human kills, he/she gets a trial, a free lawyer if need be, maybe jail time, food and water, tv, etc.
if a dog kills, then he gets killed, and it's easier to trace the dog back to the owner if he does.

Go give birth to a dog & I'm sure that you won't need a license for the dog.

A birth certificate & a social security number are equal to a dog license & tag number. I think you missed the mark on this one!

The government can't find a way to stop humans from procreating without violating their human rights.
A point to ponder ............. why do you have to license a dog but not a cat????
