The Infinity Society is an independent (Freedom of Association), non-governmental, scientific and philosophic
educational organization, founded in 1988 by the philosopher Jean-Pierre Ady Fenyo. Our purpose is to use deep
philosophical ideas and concepts in ways that change the way people all over the world think in order to help change
private (corporate) and public (government) policy with regards to social and environmental issues, problems and
concerns. We are also interested in making philosophical discussion popular and generating greater mass wisdom.
The key and foremost philosophical concept used by The Infinity Society is that of infinity (the infinite), in its broadest
sense (i.e. the idea/notion/concept that there never was a beginning and there never shall be an end to boundless
space, time and change throughout eternity!). The Infinity Society abides by the principles of non-violence,
non-violent social and political activism, and non-violent conflict resolution. As part of its goal of popularizing
philosophy and open philosophical discourse it promotes human rights, democracy, freedom of expression,
as well as public and private sector accountability. The methods of The Infinity Society are based on the scientific
application of individual and group psychology, and multi-media mass communication techniques. The overall goal
of The Infinity Society is to bring about mass wisdom, in effect open-minded, long-term oriented, deep
thinking (as opposed to narrow-minded, short-term oriented, shallow thinking), so as to herald a Lasting Era of
Universal Enlightenment in which peace, prosperity, unity through diversity and tolerance are common and
ignorance, direct hate, irrational fear, war, crime and corruption diminish and eventually disappear entirely!. We are
also known as The Society For The Mass Dissemination Of The Concept Of Infinity and have had some
relative success in promoting the concept of infinity (both publicly and privately, in the commercial sector and
elsewhere) since our founding. We encourage all efforts to promote, pass, establish and enforce legislation/laws that
would require self-declared democratic governments and institutions of higher education to popularize open
philosophic inquiry, discussion and debate within the framework of non-violent communication and relative tolerance.
Philosophy belongs to all of us, all humanity and not just the fortunate, highly educated privileged few!
