My car is white and the spot in the center of my car door is red where someone opened their car door into mine and their red paint scraped off onto my car.

Stop by your local BodyShop and ask them to remove it for you. I do this everyday for people at no charge so as when they really need me, they call me first.

Try rubbing it out first...just rub, and rub, and rub. If you see no change, then get some buffing compound. Keep the area as small as possible. Keep in mind that it will remove some of your clear coat. The area may actually be more shiney because you will most likely take some of the "orange peel" out of the clear coat. So remember...smallest area possible.

Sometimes just rubbing it with a past wax will work. If not, a product called GoofOff poured on a rag and rubbed on will remove it, but wax it after.

Use a little lacquer thinner, than polish with a good wax

use alittle bit of polishingcompound on soft cloth......you can buy the polishing compound a wal_mart...just use very little

car polish might work, or call an autobody repair shop i am sure they can help
