I try to convert my volume for NTFS. In prompt they ask me what is my volume label????

What should I answer when, after typing convert c:fs/ntfs they ask me:
The type of the file system is FAT.
Enter the current volume label for drive drive letter??????

simply press enter either it will go ahead or will comeback to prompt. Then type " C:\" press enter, type "label" press enter make the note of line that syas Volume label is XXXXXX or ssys Volume has no label, Now again type the convert command and this time when it asks for the volume label type the string "XXXXXX" that you noted above or if earlier it said volume has no label then simply press enter.

Note: A restart may be required to complete the conversin process.

Your using the wrong or old version of fdisk. FDISK it first to NTFS then you can format it and name it!
