Well, houses are good if you have one. You have to start with everyone, from within, doing their part. People are quite adverse to this.

well first, what benefit is there to be gained by 'tackling' anything?
Anti-social behavior is usually linked to poverty, if you feel left out of the economy, you'll feel pretty anti-social. If you're being halfway successful in the economy, then you can live wherever you want, and you won't be off by yourself in some low-rent dump. Social exclusion is more difficult, in that it usually implies divisions along ethnic boundaries. Like attracts like, in many cases, there's not too many people out there that are 100% comfortable taking a swim in different cultural and ethnic groups.
Sometimes, the better answer there is to let people find their own way, but to encourage culture-sharing. Rather than force things on people, let them find their own way...forced integration is no better than ghettoes...

no... i do not believe this is the answer...there are many factor we have to consider here... a lot of the answers do lie in the way social exclusion happens in the first place!
1... faith schools... this is race segregation... this in turn makes a social imbalance.
2... the government... one example being in Bolton, a suburb called daubhill... the government seem to be allowing and sending immigrants into this one area... some of who have little respect for each others faiths!
3... unwillingness to co-occupy an area... simply some races are pushed out of an area because of racism or being attacked on a nightly basis...
4... the one rule for one and one rule for another scenario, does the government, really think that it will be accepted by citizens of the UK, that immigrant are entitled to so much in business funding schemes, and grants... simply for turning up in the country and wanting to open a take away! voucher schemes for cars... and so on...
6... there has been sufficient answers been given on this subject by the government... they seem totally out of touch when it comes to social matters... especially the homegrown problems...
7... kids celebrate asbo's like trophies... adults too.
8... tags are now a fashion accsessory!
9... unwillingness to respect the law in the first place...
new ideas, more radical ideas need to be debated!

Absolutely, I work with the homeless on a daily basis. I find the people that get housed do so much better mentally and physically and are healthier, and are much more stable financially.
We are a "shelter first" society- as we move into the future, we should become a "housing first" society. Housing is a human right!
