What are some things to do to get to know a person better?

I've recently started dating someone and I'm wondering what things we can do to get to know each other better. We're both in our twenties.

I wish that was a joke, but... You can tell an awful lot about someone by how they treat you when, instead of your fulfilling their needs, you need help yourself.

Just talk to him. Find out what makes him tick by asking him all sorts of off the wall questions that he's never had a chance to think about before like what kind of animal would he be and why or if he could have written a certain song which would it be. That's what I would do.

I have found that when you start dating someone, the best way to get to know them is to spend time with them with people they are comfortable with. I like to go on group dates, that way you can see how they interact with others, particularly their own friends. You can learn a lot just by listening to someone talk to others.

My boyfriend and I used to play this little game. Ask questions back and fourth and make sure both people answer them. Questions can be anything from the light and funny to the dark and heavy. Its a quick and fun way to learn alot about another person.
