Apparently, Paris parties way too much for Nicole. After getting engaged to DJ AM (off and on relationship), Nicole tried to stop partying and go clubbing all the time. Also, Paris has been talking a lot of trash on Nicole. I think Nicole is just over the scene thing.

Nicole and Paris won't tell any magazine or reporter about why they aren't friends any more but rumor is that its has to do with paris getting paid a higher amount then nicole on simple life!

the whole thing is a hoax! neither one of them can give a reason why it started, so obviously there is no feud going on. It is just a publicity stunt towards the simple life's ratings and obviously it worked.
