Green tea is better than drinking coffee...but if you are drinking it "all the time" (more than maybe 1 or 2 cups/glasses a day)...you should cut back. There is caffeine in green tea....and drinking it all day long is hard on both of you.

The pregnancy bookl I've been referring to says no green tea as it has been associated with birth defects. I have also read similar info on the internet saying the same thing. I would not drink it or only drink it very occasionally.

The caffeine decrease at the same time as pregnant is two cups of espresso an afternoon, and synthetic sweeteners are not any more reliable on your toddler.2- 4 cups an afternoon of eco-friendly tea with fructose somewhat sweetener could be alright.merely verify caffeine quantities.

The caffeine might not be great for you since pregnancy puts extra strain on the heart, but (and I say this with every medical question I answer), CHECK WITH YOUR OBSTETRICIAN!! He may have a different opinion.
