how do I get rid of this yahoo smile face at the bottom of my computer?

lol it's an icon for your yahoo messenger ... it will show up regaurdless if your logged into your messenger but if your not and it bothers you , right click it and hit exit.

If your using the free services, then forget it. Thats part of the price for using the freebie.

If using the Premium service then you shouldn't have that. I don't pay for ads from Yahoo and will contact and demand it be removed. Here is a number to call for Customer Services.
