I was watching the history channel and they had something about him on there, and I was wondering if anyone believed if he really was as great as they say he was.

His predictions, like many things, including "Revelations" were so cloaked in metaphors, any meaning could be applied to them.

Nostra...who? You mean the old guy who predicted everything imaginable way-back-when, and some of it he might have gotten right, but no one really understands what he was saying. That guy?

There have been many prognosticators since and few have been correct about much they predicted. Modern ones have not been much better, such as Jean Dixon.

The only place that there are predictions which have already shown signs of coming true is in the Bible, from the books of Daniel to Revelations, and many others. This is the true source of predictions for the future of mankind.

He was pretty close on some predictions and only missed Hitler's name name by one letter. He did miss the prediction for the end of the world, so, we probably shouldn't dwell on his predictions much.

well, he did predict his own death or when he'd be dug up. however, i think people read too much into things. i mean he predicted all these things, but we only seem to know what exactly it was he was predicting after the fact.

Hum...I never knew he was on crack. Maybe that's why his quatrains could be interpreted to mean just about anything.
