I think all generalizations are wrong because they tend to defame or insult an entire group of people. This generalization is usually a platform the speaker uses to spout off about things that knaw at him/her, get under their skin and they generalize, Its safer than attacking or targeting any specific individual and it shows its a fools mindset and they cannot verbalize an intelligent question against a specific issue or person so by generalizing, it keeps them safe in their ignorance.

I do not like generalizations because not everyone fits into a particular mold. As a rule, those who generalize are just bigots whether their bias be related to weight, sex, color, religion, etc. A great way to recognize a bigot is when they post such a question. If they weren't biased, they would ask "Why do SOME..." It is even worse when the specifically say, "Why do ALL..." I see it on here every day.

Some people are shallow minded and live in their world of generalization. They need to think outside the box.

No problem with such generalizations. I've my own head to use and perceive things and relations in their own perspectives.

I hate it when people generalize, and make it a point to make fun of them and point out to them just how retarded they are for generalizing. That is how I deal with those types of questions.

I typically don't answer questions like that cause I think the people who wrote them a bit off.

If a person generalizes he doesn't have to single out an individual thus it depersonalizes his thinking and to him/her that makes it OK in their small mind. ....Its an ignorant way to present any argument for or against any one .or anything.
