If more Republican leaders knew first hand how ugly war can be, we probably wouldn't be in Iraq right now.

And you can add George W. Bush to this list. He never did show up for assigned duty at the Alabama National Guard in 1972. He said he was there, but not one witness who remembers seeing him has stepped forward in over 30 years and Bush's commanding officer testified that he never even met Bush, not once.

If it was you or me, we'd still be in military prison for desertion. Bush goes AWOL and becomes freaking president!! Oh god, this question is making me want to vomit.

Well, considering the current Senate, 17 Republican senators have served in the military vs. 12 Democrats...So, your point?

Yep, those are the creeps who like to send kids into an endless war based on lies. Most of them haven't even visited the troops in Iraq or in a VA hospital.

Some people can't serve because of medical reasons. And we all know that those are personal records.
I know I couldn't serve, It was the saddest day of my life.
So did you think about the question before you made it?
Just yet another Bb (Bush basher).

WELL NEITHER DID BILL CLINTON. TRY TO DO A MORE CONSTRUCTIVE LIST SUCH AS LISTING DEMOCRATS THAT DIDN'T SERVE AND REPUBLICANS THAT DID AND SEE WHAT YOU COME BACK WITH. FOR EXAMPLE JOHN MCCAIN WAS A POW AND HE'S A REPUBLICAN SO EXACTLY WHAT IS YOUR POINT? IN OTHER WORDS BEFORE YOU ATTACK VIEW THE WHOLE PICTURE.

Deserve what? Sorry to be so rude and not say "Hi." Didn't realize it was you--but should have. Of course, now that I know I can only say that we can't believe a thing you say, so this question is mute.

My grandfather wasn't allowed to serve.

They disqualified him from service due to heart palpitations.

That doesn't make him unAmerican.
