If I had an arrow stuck in my belly, I would shake my fist, and shout, "Curse you Alexandros, and curse you Apollo, for sending me into the pit of Hades! What a cowardly attempt at my life! Could we not stand face to face, and do battle like men? Must you hide behind walls and shoot at me like the dastard you are? Come before me, now, and I will plunge my sword into the belly of thee!" Then, with much honor, I would slump down, prone to the earth, and clutch at the dust, as darkness fell over my eyes.

I would want to know the best way to pull it out without damaging my insides. I would not be too concerned with where it came from and who shot it, until after I survived the incident. I would rather look and think after, than sit there wondering why I am dying, when I could fix it! If I were to demand all that, I would not live to see another day and be able to seek revenge. Like I said, fix now, solve later. Death and Revenge... or Live and let Live... gee, what a tough choice?

The problem isn't tht you asked a philosophical question; the problem is that people didn't bother to READ it before they answered it. Apparently category titles are simply big letters here, not a method of arranging questions by content.
So, let's see....do I care who made the arrow sticking out of my belly? Only if it helps me get the thing out. Do I care what he/she was thinking when it was made, I doubt it. Profit tends to drive most manufacturing decisions. Do I need to know from whence it came? Only if there's a chance another is on its way soon. I guess I really need to know how to get it out without inflicting any further pain. But obviously I'm in shock anyway, because I've spent entirely too much time considering all of my options instead of simply reverting to primal instincts and PANICKING!

First, I'd call 911. I would have someone wrap the wound around the point of entry (and exit if that happends) through which the arrow entered in a sterile bandage or gause. And than lie very still until the professionals arrived to take me to the hospital to have it surgically removed.
Pulling it out could result in more internal damage and internal bleeding, putting you in graver danger.

Hey I'm not balding... too noticably.. shut up!
And if it's an arrow used for target practice, it could possibly be pulled out without doing too much damage, although it probably wouldn't stick too far in you since they are not too sharp. If it's a hunting arrow, it's best to leave it in, and raise some hell when you see the orange hats running away.

theory and practice...
Theory is still a kind of practice, a moral activity..
And Practice is always using the theoretical.
Would I ask where it came from?
You bet I would, if I didn't know where
I could get hit with another one...
I wouldn't care about who made it.
If I saw the guy that shot me with it, I'd probably run.. but I might benefit If I could disarm him-- so processing the "why" might be helpful.
I understand your grief. I just don't think it's so either/or.

Seems like you want to know the human attitude toward the event. Would you be first concerned with revenge, or self-preservation?
I vote for self-preservation. My first thoughts would be how best to remove (or deal with) the arrow, rather than take action against the shooter.
As a bonus, saving myself would increase my chances for future revenge, if I wished.

I'd probably say What the ****!!! but, I won't try to pull it out because the haemorrage it would cause would't let me live even 30 minutes... so, I'd leave it just where it is, go to a hospital and yell to the ******* hell to my awesome luck LOL

An arrow stuck in my belly . . . My first priority would be to stablize the shaft with whatever cloth I had available. As soon as that was done, my instincts would prolly have me running for my life.

You don't pull it out yourself, you let a surgeon do that. The rest of the questions at the time would not be occuring.
