We had no internet connection in my computer class today; then I get home and still no internet explorer .Anyone else having trouble ?

Thanks all, for the help-I haven't deleted my old ISP yet , so was able to sign on to AOhell , while I had the problem (a new cable modem ). All is well. Thanks again. You were all helpful .

Internet Explorer is a software thats installed on your computer. There might be websites that are having trouble, but IE is a software on the client's computer so if you are having trouble with it, then something is wrong with your computer.
If youre talking about Internet traffic, lag, or disconnects, then it has something to do with your ISP. I think its just a coincidence that youre having trouble with IE in class and also at home.

If your school and home are using the same ISP, and they are down, this will explain the problem. Call your ISP's service center and ask them.

your internet connection has nothing to do with internet explorer. it is your isp that has the problem

I heard something about an IE virus coming out the other day, but i cant remember when it was sposed to launch
