I went to look at my flowers this morning and half of my petunias are missing their flowers, some of them were plucked from the ground. I've never seen this happen, could it be deer? We have deer, but I didn't think they liked petunias.

I work for a landscape co. in Texas and I have seen at least two varieties of annual flowers completely pulled from the soil. I did not see the perpetrator, but by the way the tops were chopped off, I would bet the rent it was a white-tail deer. There were also hoof imprints in the compost that obviously were from the above-mentioned critter.

No the bees aren't to any extent further ingesting your flora. some thing else is ingesting your flora, look heavily on the leaves till you locate what kind is ingesting your plant so that you recognize a thanks to stay away from them doing so.
