Because she was on a TV show every week and people got to know who she was. She cleverly made some dumb remarks which got her on the news.
She has a beautiful figure, a nice face, blond hair and can sing.
I'm not a fan but it's easy to understand why she's famous. I don't think she's a star yet.

Because she sang for a church choir thingy when she was little and was scouted. She tried out of the Mickey Mouse club too. she went to a concert of 98 Degrees and Met Nick Lachey. She was his backup singer.
