Do you mean D & C?

If so, its a procedure where they go in and scrape out the contents of your uterus, for example if you have a miscarriage they will go in and scrape all of the tissue and stuff left behind out and clean you out good.

Since this is under the pregnancy category, I will assume you mean D and C. Which is Dialation and Curatage.
It is where a woman's cervix is dialated by a doctor and the contents of the uterus are removed -the curatage is a scraping of the uterine wall. This can be a way to treat a woman who has miscarried, but not delivered the fetus, or a type of abortion.

A D&C not only removes contents of the uterus after a miscarraige or abortion, but after I had my son, I had to have one the week after because I was hemmoraging. I think some of the placenta had stayed behind..(the baby was healthy, though).
