seriously?
1. because we are the caretakers of the earth, like it or not.
2. everything on earth is interrellated and if the balance is lost it could, theoretically be our undoing
3. that bug's venom might cure your mom's cancer but that bird is eating the bug too much because we killed the birds predator for a cure for aging skin.

Om gosh!!! I hope to heavens this isn't really homework. I'm hoping this your silly attempt at humor. If so, try again. If not. God help you! OK the 3 reasons among millions WHY we need to preserve our wildlife.
1. Without our wildlife, life will no longer exist. We need the wildlife to feed us, cloth us and help us understand where we came from.
2. Wildlife is our path to the past.
3. Wildlife helps us by eating insects that would plague the earth. Thus eat our crops and we would starve.
So any other bright questions?

In strict darwinism, maybe wildlife should not be preseverd. Those species that cannot adapt become extinct.
