Avon sells a really good hand lotion for extremely dry skin. They also have other great products in bath and body. As far as makeup, their lip liners have a good selection of colors to choose from and work well. As far as what it better, it just depends on what works best for the individual. Some people will like the product and others won't.

I am actually a MAC girl and I have been stuck on it ever since I started using them! I haven't heard anything bad about AVON and I haven't tried it..but they say it is good, and if your mom sells it all the more better for you..why don't you try it out and be the judge of that? Sometimes you got to find what is right for you when it comes to makeup, and expensive products usually deliver the results we want! So find he best products in the line that work for you, and besides there is no harm in mixing when it comes to eye shadows and so on, but I'll recommend when it comes to foundation and powder you stick to one brand.

My friend sells avon, and where ever I have lived I have managed to find an Avon dealer. I like several of their skin products. I don't
like their eye liner or mascara, but I don't like a lot of the other
top sellers either.

I've used the Meet Mark AVON products and I've generally liked them although I've grown bored with them kinda quickly. They haven't been my top favorites. But they aren't bad products at all!

What is better than AVON? Well, personally I *LOVE* MAC make-up. They're eyeshadows are awesome...great colors! And I love the lipglosses! :] I also love Bobbi Brown products, they make a quality product at a fairly inexpensive price and Benefit products are really cute and fun!

Not a fan of Avon or Mary Kay...don't know why I keep seeing them both on these answers. As far as drugstores go, L'Oreal & Revlon are two of the best, and for department stores MAC has the best overall line. Others have some standout products but you won't find much that isn't good with MAC...it's a bit more expensive but evens out...i.e. their eyeshadow is so highly pigmented I can use one single-shade compact daily for months and months.

I like Avon, it is cheap and has some nice products, but I prefer the Mark products. It is a subsidiary of Avon, so it is not too expensive, but has great quality. I esp. like their perfume, lipgloss, and mascara.

Avon is a good low-mid price range makeup. it is equivalent to maybelline, covergirl. Some of the skin care is better than you can get in the stores. Lancome is better but it is expensive. If I were you I'd stick with what you have. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I prefer MAC Cosmetics and think it is way better than Avon.
I have tried Avon lipglosses, lotions before but don't think they are all that great.

There's nothing better than Avon. It's the least expensive among big names.
Don't line your eyeballs with the liner, don't get the kind you have to sharpen, and you'll have no problem.
Glimmersticks twist up stick 3 for $9.
