A reboot is another word for restart
Instructions
Mac OS X 1) click the apple in the menu bar 2) click restart 3) click restart in the dialog box.
Windows XP 1) click the start button 2) click turn off the computer 3) click restart.
I don't know about Linux/Unix or BSD

Reboot, restart, reset are all the same. Basically it's a quick computer shut down and starts again.
Strategies
---------------
1. try enter [Ctrl + Alt + Delete] twice. (the three-finger salute)
2. Start > Shut Down > Choose Restart
3. Power off, power on

Go to your Start button, click on Turn off computer and select Reboot.

Back out of the computer program that you are in and sign out
and close down your computer, wait @ 10 seconds and restart
your computer. That is rebooting.
