Accidentally right clicked a web item (paypal logo) now cannot get it off my desktop. Suggestions ? Not an icon, web item.

Sounds like you may have mistakenly clicked "Set as Desktop Background." You could do this with another image by right-clicking on an image you really want as your background on the web. Or you can right click on the Desktop itself and choose "Properties." Switch to the Background tab and choose another image or (None).

Try to delete it off the desktop. Right click and delete. :)

you can always go to 'my computer' and search around for items affiliated with it and delete them and such, maybe disabling the product

try changing the name of the file.
