What is your question? Do I find your joke offensive?

Yeah, I sure do. Check out this article from the Washington Post, which proves just how racist it is to say "No hablo inglés!" about 57% of the population.

"Despite claims to the contrary, census data show that most Latino immigrants learn and speak English quite well. Only about 2.5 percent of American residents speak Spanish but not English. The majority of residents of Spanish-speaking households speak English "very well."

"Only 7 percent of the children of Latino immigrants speak Spanish as a primary language, and virtually none of their children do. Just as they did a century ago, immigrants largely come knowing little English. But they learn, and their children use it as a primary language. The United States is not becoming a bilingual nation."

The united States is a country made by immigrants from all over the world since its beginnings. If you mean immigration is a problem now because an enormous, continuous influx of people are coming from Latin America, south America, and the Caribbean, consider this: couple of hundreds years ago, settlers from England came, they were immigrants. Then all the other groups, Italians, blacks, Chinese, orientals, and what have you... All of these groups have experienced xenophobia, racism, and rejection at some point but it all goes away with time. All this hot immigration plate will get cold, and eventually it will happen the same thing over and over again.

I have always said and will forever say that the immigrants that here illegally need to go back to Mexico and come back over legally. If they are here legally then there is no problem.
