There's a product called the Chillow Pillow. It runs about $25 & is available at Drugstore.com, Amazon.com, etc. It's a large gel filled pack that fits in your regular pillowcase along with your pillow. It really helps you keep your cool during the night. It doesn't require any refrigeration & it has helped me immensely!

Get a large 24 inch(diameter) heavy metal fan.
Place it in the bedroom so that it is blowing on you at night.
When you get a hot flash, simply knock off the covers and let the cool air blow on you.

It will cool you down quickly.

try some natural estrogens, plant derived ones. They are mild, natural, and effective.
Increase the amount of soy you eat...that works also.

When it's really bad...put crushed ice in a hot water bottle and go to bed with it...that works too!
