Best state to live in and why??

All depends on your personal interests and preferences.... I am from California but I have lived in other states, the Caribbean and Europe...Candidly, I think CA is too expensive and over-rated. Mexican illegal immigration is a problem here.... Crime. Gangs. You name it. There are very many other comparable states, yet safer and less expensive, etc. Try Colorado, NE Texas... good luck!

I'm from South Carolina and I live in California. I love them both. I love the calm beautiful south but love the fast pace of California. I found more opportunity here on the west coast. Also being a person in recovery, it is not so frowned upon here. I was really judged harshly by the bible belt community and I no longer have that worry. Hope you find what you need!!! God Bless

lol, I heard the same thing about Nevada. I like California everything is cheap there except housing. If you can work around that, you should be fine.

Texas! Food, climate, weather, hospitality, people, culture, history, scenery, wildflowers, diversity in geography, hot summers but very mild winters. These are all good things in my opinion.

Nevada--they say that NOTHING happens there....read it in the Newspaper a while back......it was showing you the emtire year and nothing happens bad in Nevada.
