Well seeing as everyone else is rubbishing him, I will play devil's advocate, and answer for you.
In the early 1550's he began his project of writing a book of one thousand quatrains, which constitute the largely undated prophecies for which he is most famous today. The quatrains, published in a book titled "Les Propheties" (The Prophecies), received a mixed reaction when they were published. Some people thought Nostradamus was a servant of evil, a fake, or insane, while many of the elite thought his quatrains were spiritually inspired prophecies. Major themes deal with apocalyptic events in the future, and the over-running of Europe by Muslims, led possibly by an Anti-Christ (doesn't neccessarily have to be Satanic, just diametrically opposed to Christianity).
Although as some of the others mentioned, many of his predictions were obscure and easily intepretatable, he does in fact often mention names that crop up in history. ie he mentions the assasination of the leader of a great and powerful nation called John (ie Kennedy). He mentions the bomb that glows with the light of a thousand suns. An evil leader of a northern nation who is hell bent on world domination called Hister (sic). He mentions specifically London would be burned to the ground (an event which transpired almost exactly 100 years after his death), in this case he does specifically state London will be destroyed by fire. Others believe he also mentions Napoleon, but the quatrain referred to is an anagram, and could easily refer to a river near where he lived.
For those who do believe in his prophecies, he accurately predicted both the French revolution & Napoleon, Hitler, and both the world wars, the great fire of London, the Atomic destruction in Japan, the moon landings, the space shuttle disaster in 1986 ("challanger"), and goes on to predict the arrival of an Anti-Christ leading an army of Muslims to conquer to world, and an ensuing apocalyptic battle which destroys the planet.

He predicted when his grave would be dug up. Although that is trusting that he really did it, and it wasn't a set up. He didn't predict that the king would be killed in a jousting match. He said that the young lion would kill the old lion ON THE FIELD OF BATTLE. That was a GAME not a BATTLE. It is people change what he said to MAKE it come true. They say well this is what that means. Much like that whole thing about oh Hisler meant Hitler, he just had to change it to protect himself. After all who isn't afraid of someone who won't be born for over 400 years.

Nostradamus actually hasn't predicted anything. All of the "predictions" do not specially say anything about the future. Most scholars believe that he was actually commenting on the world he lived in.

He predicted that you would ask this question.
He predicted I would answer it.
He predicted Paris Hilton would desire you but you would turn her down.
He predicted that you would find this too amusing for words.
He also predicted that Lemony Snicket would be killed by Voldemort but that Harry Potter would be named the next Defense Against Dark Arts Instructor.
He predicted that Katie Holmes would have another baby and name it Xenu Hubbard.
He predicted that Yahoo Answers would become compulsory reading in high schools.
So far most of the above has not come true.

His death, when he would be unearthed, and the death of a king in a jousting contest. He also predicted the fates of the queens kids, which were correct. But since his views of the future are blurry and vague, his prose could mean anything from a president assassination to me getting my toenails clipped next Thursday.

Nothing predicted by Notradamus can be proven to have come true. His Predictions are ambiguous like horoscopes and a number of interpretations could be put on any one of them, thus it is easy to make them mean what you want them to mean.

Many of his predictions are as complex as the Bible. It depends on the translator, and it is either a lot, or all of it is garbage. Take your pick.

About the same amount any vaguely written overly ambiguous prophet has.
