Why is it that when things get tough, or people experience problems... everyone goes for the easy cop out answer of "turn and run". I read many questions on here, about relationships, racism, etc... and it seems 9 out of 10 answers are just... "Oh ditch your friends and find new ones" or "Dont waste your time on that" It seems so many people theses days hate the idea of effort. It really annoys me that people try to find the easy answers to EVERYTHING.... Haven’t they heard the saying... NOTHING IN LIFE WORTH DOING IS EASY! I think that saying rings very true. I would like all of your input on this also... It just confuses me... I have no problem putting in time and hard work... why do so many people want the easy way ... Are we all becoming super lazy? I saw my neighbor drive to get her mail.... its honestly 20 yards away!!!! Im scared as to what this means to this country... any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I hope you haven't just come to notice the decline of humanity now. It's been a long time coming. There are circles who say that technology is hampering our development, and there are circles who say that our modern civilization is about to fall, like it's bretheren from the past, Rome, et al.
But, I believe it's a combination of the worst human traits, like greed, laziness, selfishness...manifesting in social changes that then become the norm, perpetually, until we either have a major catastrophe or a major war.
I'd hate to start from scratch again as "cavemen", but it seems inevitable as we continue to grow fat and complacent.

I agree. What I think it is is that people honestly can't be bothered with your problems. If you ask their advice, they won't spend much time thinking about it. When most people think too hard, their brain starts to hurt, they get very frustrated and have a mental melt down. That is why they avoid it at all costs. If you want real help from someone who will have the time and patience to understand the situation fully, hire a shrink, otherwise you are on your own. You would probably do better thinking for yourself anyway.

i never run from anything, yet meet it head on...however if i happen to include someone who isn't positive into my life, then i am wasting not only my time but that persons also.we all misjudge our own judgment sometimes, and i am saying that when a bad influence or harmful person is in your life,it is better to rid yourself of them before you get hurt.i would never walk on a Friend who points out truth about me,yet would drop someone fast as lighting if they meant to cause me real harm.you are right about a lot of people taking the easiest route though, and yes even if we busy ourselves all day,we will never be able to compare our physical work load to our parents or even their parents.final answer....yes.

The only moderate was Hillary and McCain. Obama was hard left during the primaries and then totally changed during the general election. Those who supported Hillary saw this.
