another label? alot of poeple at my school and other poeple become goth jsut to fit in with some other group other than bieng a geek or nerd.

they do it so they actually have a group instead of geek or nerd or just someone who isn't popular
everyone needs to fit in somewhere
they will get over this stuff eventually anyways when they get older and find the real meaning to what they are supposed to be doing with their life

For the person who said it is a faze....goths have been around since I was in University (at least) and that was 17 years or so ago. People generally outgrow it when they move on to the real world.

ironically, the gothic trend started as something anti-trend, and now it's a trend. We tend to define ourselves in groups, and goths are just one way people go.

find your own style, that is trend setting...and it makes you happy not everybody.....just the one who counts....being Gothic takes on a lot in body language...attitude such as that.....go far away from trends...look at the book "Godless" read it cover to cover, author Ann Coulter nailed it on this book. You'll see fashion so much clearer...plan a portfolio, not a fantasy black on black with no hope of a smile....think of a business to start....think...think.....think...good luck....

its anarchy, its the like rebellious world but that now has lost its name. I like rock bands like they do say but I just wear what I feel good in which would look normal too someone like you
