Pay attention while the Instructors is teaching, Do some work on your own and try to do your home work, iit will help you get to know stuff much more better

In the first place, you need some interest in learning. Secondly, learning calculus is essentially the same as learning anything else, like auto-mechanics. And there is a difference between studying and learning.

Ask anything that you do not understand and don't memorize steps ( except for formulas), use your logic.
