As in, what month? How about London, Venice and Madrid? ( yes, I'm going to Europe next year ).

Thanks.

I love Paris in the springtime but Christmas is also magical.

the worst time of year is August to go anywhere in Europe!
go to Venice when it is not too hot because the canals start to stink :(
I have never been to Madrid but Barcelona during Easter is fantastic (any catholic country during Easter is very interesting)

Not August. In August the locals all leave Paris and go elsewhere and it is crawling with tourists. Also, some stores and museums close during August so the owner can also leave Paris.
I would say October because it's not too hot or busy and everything should be open.

i suggest no earlier in the year than june. europe's winters last very long.....up until may, although there may be a few nice days here and there still gets pretty nippy and rain is quite frequent. i'd say you're in the clear from june on...
