cheerleaders are like actors/actresses. Self-absorbed, loud, attention grabbers. Unfortunately, as an amateur actor and sibling to a cheerleader, I get to spend loads of time with this delightful demographic group.
P.S. Anyone got some cyanide? =D

If they add to the preppy-perky stereotype..that bothers most.
I'm on a competitive squad,we're all energetic but nothing like media portrays cheerleaders to be (ex: blond,perky and high pitched squeeky voiced and always happy and jumpy)
So....it depends on the person as a whole I guess....

some cheerleader can be nice as long as they are not the stereotypical ones, but yea those cheers are annoying. Maybe its just because they are repetitive

because cheerleaders are looking for some cheers that could help your team boost up there confidence another thing.. cheerleaders are some times stupid that they just want everybody's attention always to them...

i know what you mean i have a CHEERLEADING friend and it is annoying at some point.i guess they just love their sport.maybe you are feeling left out because you do not know how to cheer.or maybe you can join it and find out for your self.you can also take the easy way around by asking her.

No, cheerleaders aren't annoying. They're just annoyingly HOT!!!! YEA!!!!! Sorry, my testosterone kicked in. Any mention of cheerleaders to guys and this happens.

No , they just have lots of enthusiasm. Mostly they are cute too. Its WAY better to have them jumping around cheering in cute outfits than jumping around crazy shouting at random things.

I saw this one cheerleader mess her self up pretty badly cause she thought she was cute. All that weave ended up making her tilt over like humpty dumpty.
