Wright's ribbon used to have gold coins on trim for sale but I can't find them. I've also found on the net belly dancers use them but they are very expensive. I just need about 20 of them. Thanks for any help.

I don't know if you have a Michael's, Jeffrey Alan's, Hobby Lobby, or some similar store where you live, but many such hobby related places offer fake "coins" like that. Also you can try your local coin shop or dealer...they might have some cheap genuine coins made of brass, etc. from other countries that look goldish, but aren't, and can be bought inexpensively. If you want to use a US coin, go to your local bank and get 20- Sacagawea golden colored dollars...cost...$1 each. Maybe that's more than you want to spend, but it's an option anyhow. Hope these suggestions helped.

Costume shops have them, dance supply shops often have them, some fabric stores have them in their notion department. You can also check the toy department of a large store -- they often have 'play money' that includes 'gold' coins. As a last resort, check out the bulk candy department of a large food store. They have gold wrapped chocolate coins that you might be able to use.
