Do you think that people have more respect for those who follow through with things they say? Ex: I'm going to work-out everyday, and you do. Do people respect you because they see your respecting yourself?

Uhmm people respect you when they see that you are doing something to better your life or others...what exactly do you mean by following through??

it really wouldnt matter to me but if it was a big thing like a commitment to a relationship then it would be more worth it and most people just respect others for who they are not what they do..........
