Could be either. Depends on the type of kid.

I'd say about 20,000.

Besides, if the kid is willing to go through all that trouble of asking the question and asking how to find it out and waiting patiently for the answer, they deserve the grade becaose of all that work, so I don't exactly think it's an easy out.

Besides, why'd you ask this question in Physics? I just noticed...

Post it in Homework Help. That way, inappropriate answers can be seen more quickly.

Obviously a lot of people do, judging by the number of questions like, "So I have a triangle with one angle of cosine 42 degrees and a train is leaving chicago with x squared coal as fuel" and crap like that. I think it's quick and easy, but not proper research and you're probably not going to get an answer on any hard questions anyway.

This is an easy way to get help, plus it is an easy way to cheat if you have hard questions. It can be a research tool and an easy way to do homework.

NO!!! Stupid, we are on here because we really need extra HELP!!! What do you mean??..... there is no easy way out with school, because if you don't do your homework and truly study, your going to fail anyway on test day. Everybody body knows that homework is something like 10% of your grade which isn't SH#T!! So even if you got 100's on every homework paper, you could still fail for the semester.........Besides you don't know sh#it to tell anybody anyway!!!!!!

Considering how many thousands of kids with homework are out there (now in the world), probably less than 1% ask for help here, and many of those want help getting the answer, not the answer.

I think , Yeah, Most kids are using Yahoo Answers for homework.
It's not yet billions or googles...But it's spreading.
But, who can blame Yahoo Answers?
If you were in the place of this child.
What if the internet does not have the right information?
I think it's also right to ask people about their opinions...
After all, not all people's opinions are correct right?

That's why instead of giving outright answers to certain questions, you should explain how to arrive at the answer. Just imagine all the frustration you can cause that way. It's a wonderful thing.

No, it is not a proper research tool. this may not even be good info. you people are getting, but it is a good way to be social and have philosophic discussions(sort of), and a good way to find websites.

most adults are smart enough not to give kids free answers to homework questions. Other kids may give answers, but probably not. Hopefully it is a very small percentage of kids overall.
