What foods should I eat? What techniques should we use? Vitiamins? Is there really any way to ensure the outcome of the sex?

All you can do is pray. It's really in Gods hands what he wants to give you. It's a 50/50 chance to be a girl or boy.

There is no way to ensure that you will have a son. However, you *can* increase the likelihood. The only method with any scientific backing is the Shettles method (see sources section below). The method is *not* perfect--it has a 75-90% success rate--so you should only use it if you will be thrilled with a baby of either sex.

The Chinese calendar may be a fun game to play, but it cannot be used before you get pregnant, nor is it *accurate*. If a woman goes into premature labor, does her baby magically change sex?! And, then if the labor is stopped by drugs, does it magically change back? Not to mention that there are several *different* versions of the chart. They can't *all* be right.

Good luck!!

There is NO way to ensure getting a male...unless you genetically modify your sex cells (which I'm not even sure is possible or ethical at this point). A suggestion: drop your wants for a specific sex of the child so you don't end up resentful towards her if its a girl. This isn't China, after all.

No there is no "sure way"...but no matter what the sex ends up being...you shouldn't be so selfish and stupid.
Pray for a healthy child...
Research what you can do to insure the conception of a healthy child?
What can you eat or take or not do to insure the conception of a healthy child?
How can you help your wife insure the conception of a healthy child?

Those are the questions you should be asking yourself.

The FIRST thing about parenthood...is putting YOUR needs aside and focusing on those of your child...it would do you good to start now.

About 20 years ago I read in a book if your trying to conceive a male immediately put your legs in the air for a few minutes female sperm swim faster then male sperm but male sperm are stronger so you are more likely to have a boy if you do this.

There is NO way to make sure your child is male. You carry two chromosomes X (female) and Y (male) and your wife only carries X. The sex of the baby is up to your sperm. It depends on which of your sperm carrying either X or Y fertilizes her egg first. There is nothing you can do.

There is no way to predetermine your babies sex and anyone that says there is is spouting BS.

The sex of the child has been shown to determined by the fathers contribution, but you can't change the out come, anymore than you can change your own DNA.

I think it is so sad that you are trying to make sure the baby is male. I feel sorry for the baby if it's a girl. You should be hoping for a healthy baby regardless of sex.

Male decides the sex of the baby so whatever it will be its your doing!! and it doesn't matter how or in what position you do it you will eject the same amount of sperms!
