I am 16 almost 17 at 90 lbs. I have no probs with the way my body looks but I'd like to put a lil meat on my bones. Sometimes I hate the fact that I am skinny, and every1 tells me that soon enough I will start gaining weight, but I'm not sure cuz my mom started gaining when she got pregnant and I hate it when strangers look at me as if I'm anorexic or if people I kno ask me if I'm anorexic.

If you are trying to gain weight and do it properly go see a nutritionist, or even an employee over at GNC. There are supplements that you can take to help you gain weight. Since it sounds like you have a quick metabolism, you should eat every 2-3 hours with proteins and carbs. Avoid the sugar, although a bowl of ice cream before bed will surely help you put on some pounds. But try and do it the healthy way.

I had the same problem. I'm 22, and was 95lbs. I started eating whenever I thought about it. All the time. I eat whole grain rice. Heavy foods. I also started taking flax seed oil pill. That did the trick. I have gained 4 lbs in 2 weeks.
You also might want to ask your Dr. about problems with thyroid? Just ask your doctor for check up, and take some kind of omega 3 vitamin 3 times a day with every meal. It worked for me!

I had that problem for a while. I asked my doctor and she told me to drink Ensure Plus IN ADDITION to each meal. Yes, I know it sounds like an awful old-person drink. But it worked for me. Also, the chocolate flavor is pretty good. It took a short time to get used to it but now I like it. Also, drinking it when it's cold helps.

Good luck.
