Ask them what bugs them about you. Help them fix it. Maybe they think your too strick. That's not really something you can change but you should still talk it over with them. hope things go better :)

You are really a teacer? And the kids you teach bad? Pleeeeese! You aren't setting much of an example for them with writing like this.
Do you mean you teach them badly, they don't learn, or they don't behave?

Come up with a behavior management plan that makes the students accountable for their behavior and rewards them for doing the correct thing. This can be a part of their participation grade. SInce it's a part of their grade and if they are rewarded with a sticker on a chart or checks (certain # = 1/2 of their participation points for their quarter grade) they are more likely to behave since they are responsible for earning what they want.

Try to help them in all sorts of different, fun ways. If they can't understand, you did your best. If they can, good job. If they don't care and start acting up, ignore 'em!
