It happens when the needs of one or both parties are not being met (usually emotional). People change and you have to be sensitive to the needs and feelings of you mate.

It's a seductive and enticing thought that creeps in there as the disillusionment over the current relationship festers and requests for help go unheeded.

Some people are just scumbags and will cheat just to do it. Many are well-meaning men/women who feel trapped and make a decision - they do have to live it though.

Don't trust the guy again. Infidelity is the worst thing ever!

Spoken from someone who was the victim of it - it was the most painful emotional experience that I have gone through in my entire life. When the person who you love and trust the most in life would lie to you with a straight face, that was really bad! It rocks you to your core and was the greatest test that I had ever had to pass. I survived and learned some valuable lessons and became stronger because of it but it was not easy.

If you are unfaithful, you are scum of the earth. No one can trust you because you obviously lie to the one you claim to love or care about. It is very clear in the Bible, cheating is wrong. If you're not religious you still know it's immoral. I also put the "other woman/man" right there with the spouse/significant other, IF they knew. If they can't respect the sanctity of someone else's marriage/commitment, how can you trust they'll respect theirs?

If its you, then you should rethink your position on whether you want to be married or not. Because if he finds out, you WILL NOT be married for long!

Is it worth it? losing him, and maybe your kids?

No, not for a one night stand like a cheap hooker.

Now, if your hubby went with a hooker for one night, would you be jealous??? SURE YOU WOULD!

And if he left you for another woman, would you be jealous? YOU BETCHA!!

So, grow up and be mature and quit thinking about other people, or lose everything, including your self respect when you lose everything.

I wish you well..

Jesse

infidelity is a relationship killer and winds up not being worth losing your spouse.

That's one of the absolute worst things that you could do to your spouse. I kid you not, if I were married and my wife did that to me, the kids are mine. Straight up. She'd get jack squat from me and that's on the real!

I think people should be honest about what they are up to with their partners. It saves drama later.
