Clone Problem

With the advances in cloning I presume humans shall be next.

This brings us to the BIG question. If you push your naked clone off the top of a tall building, would it be?

A) Murder?

B) Suicide?

C) Merely making an obscene clone fall?

Yes and No, because in theory a person with the same genetic code will with a certain environment react the same way. Since most clones would be able to come up with their own ideas since they will likely grow in a different environment, but this could be easily abused. Persons who want political power (however strange it may seem), could potentially clone people and use them to gain votes, depending on the growth cycle. This is too science fiction for me, just another implementation of the age old Nature vs Nurture question.

Genetics only play in about 10% in how we turn out. We are ultimately a product of our environment, and our environment helps shape our personality and ideas about the world. So yes, a cloned human should be allowed to vote, because they are two different people who merely have the same genetic make-up. DNA cannot affect future thoughts and ideas.

Sure, a clone is only a much younger twin. The question should be, Should a brainwashed person be allowed to vote?

Folks who ask these kinds of questions should not be allowed to vote - lol - but I would say yes - people are and have been cloned via genitics for thousands of years as it is.

yes! why not? They're human too. As long as they're a citizen. Who says they will vote for the same person they were cloned from?

Yes they should. Once a human is cloned, they should be afforded the same rights as a normal human of his/her country.

In my opinion yes, the moment that cloned human being is born, he/she is a human being as well and should have the same rights as any human being born through traditional means.

Identical twins are "natural" clones. Don't you think they should both get a vote when they get to be old enough?
