You can certainly do this. However, it is a good idea to always have a copy on your hard drive. Flash drives are fairly reliable, but if the document is important you should always have a backup on your hard drive.

Where the heck do you live and work? You take a leave, you declare for how long, and you are expected back at your office when your leave - as earlier announced and agreed upon - ends. No one has to call you! By the way, the US is an at will employment country. You can be fired at the drop of a hat.

no, they give a course at college, non-credit, on the rights of employees. check it out...and do call the B.B.B. or go in and talk to them. you may get money outta this one. they are ruining your creditability, your resume won't fly if you keep letting them get by with things illegal. and you can go by and talk to the fair labor board people, it's listed under government in phone book. and talk to a lawyer, one that doesn't charge, pro bono type case lawyer. don't get mad and get even or anything like that, but do it by the law, and stand up for yourself. good luck....
