My friend laughs at me coz I have to pause to think whats left and right sometimes i hold my left up and go ok this is left coz i write with it....
I don't know why I don't automatically know my friend says its a sign of adult attention deficit disorder

Well, the best way to find out is to ask Statistics Canada to conduct a survey of Canadian residents of this question. At least you will get results for one country.
Probably not very many. A lot of people in third-world countries might because they don't play many sports/have proper education.
This is a sad statistic.
You could also try phoning a certain amount of people in a region to find out. Calling to Canada and USA is free with Skype.

Well I know the difference between the two I'm just really lousy when it comes to giving directions to people that have to turn left or right. I crack up when I think of some of the times I got lost myself trying to figure out if its right going or right coming.

Hey, I graduated from college. And I still sometimes forget. (Luckily, I'm right-handed so I can just remember write/right). LOL

well on one hand (HA) it is easy for me since i am "right handed" so that is my "right" hand
on the other hands it would appear that if you are "left handed" since that is not your "right" hand it would be the wrong one.
so left handed people have more of a problem then right handed people

When I was young, mum would say 'Use your right hand, the one you bless yourself with'. So it would seem that we used to use the right hand before we knew what it was called.
