If you are serious and are looking for a job that will ultimately boost your career or college applications, get something that combines consistency, ie punctuality, with responsibility, for example, dealing curteously with people, supervising others, having some clerical duties, doing tedious stuff like cleaning up, answering the phone. It all depends where you want to be later. But commitment, not being above tedious duties, people skills, and some anaytical skills like filing, are all useful.
