You will enjoy this area, especially if you have not been there before. We were just there last year and had a blast.
The one thing no one warned us about was the evening traffic.
My God, you have never seen such a traffic jam as you will in Branson. You must avoid the strip around 4:30 to 6pm and again around 10-10:30 pm when all the shows let out. It really is a serious problem, with little to no solution. Small roads, in a small area, with a huge population of visitors. I would recommend that you take the Branson Belle dinner cruise. I would also recommend a day trip to Springfield, especially if you want to explore some caves. If you want the best tour, hit the Crystal Cave. It is owned by an elderly couple for many years and it is not your usual "tourist" type attraction and you get a very personal and interesting tour guided by the man who has done all the work in the cave and still does, and he's over 80 years old, it was very enjoyable. There are plenty of things for kids to do if that is necessary. We don't have any kids though. As usual, things are a little pricy in this tourist environment so bring plenty of spending capitol or a credit card with plenty of room in the available credit limit and ENJOY!!!

Shoji Tabuchi is AWESOME the man can play! Yakov Smirnoff is very funny. I just saw Pierce Arrow in March and I really enjoyed that show, they do sing some Christian songs towards the end so that may not be for everyone.
Stop by Silver Dollar City, Ride the Ducks is fun and Ripley's Believe it or Not is cool.
Hope that helps. Branson is very busy all the time but there are LOTS of things to do. Oh and by the way when I there in March they were working on a Titanic Musuem that looked cool, it was in the shape of the Titanic.

Darn it been awhile. See the Guy that play the Violin (Japanese dude) he fun. See that Russian, wait..... I think he may have passed away, man he was fun. Glen Campbell a blast, well, darn, I think he passed away too, sad, he felt bad and started to leave and some people from another state said they drove just to see him, so, he stayed and put on the show! Real good man, but, he passed away after-wards. We all said, he died doing what he loved best, singing and people, and, well, Chicken Fried Steak! Guess this not much to tell you, just go, everything is fun, may be a little expensive, but, it a vacation to remember.

Go to the wax museum but skip Ripley's. Try to go to Silver Dollar City if you can afford to! It's awesome!
