Not specifically assuming it is well vented and the colling fan works.
Be aware though that EVERY piece of machinery has a finite lifespan ... leaving the computer on will wear out the mechanical parts (fan, hard disk [to a lesser extent] etc) faster than if it is only used occasionally.

Actually it doesnt do any harm
but there is a posting at microsoft's site
which says if you leave it on for around 69 days
(i dont remember excatly) .the memmory leaks by OS itself will force it to become slow.
So it's ok if you leave it on.
But try and restart it once a while to clear up and free the memory
which is occupied not by programs but by leaks.
