Have just (yipee) found out that I am pregnant (it is planned) - How should I tell my husband.
He is in the army so I could tell him over the phone, write him a letter or should I wait and tell him directly when he comes home this saturday or do something else?
Am so excited!

ha ha he has just come home and am finding it incredibly difficult not to say anything but am determined to wait till sunday.

When I first got pregnant my husband was in Iraq so obviously I told him over the phone (I didn't think it would be a good idea to have him come home to a baby and have no clue where it came from) but seeing as you have another option tell him when he gets back! Heres what you should do. Make a nice meal for him and have it ready and waiting. Put up some candles and have the plates sitting out and everything with your pregnancy test wrapped in a box on his plate. Sit down and ask him to open his present. When he does he will probably know exactly what it means. That would make for the most beautiful homecoming... I wish I could have done something like that for my husband but obviously that wasn't a possibility. Good luck!
ohh yea! and saraidan has a great idea! Wrap a little boy around it in yellow and green and attach a little note that says happy fathers day on it! Great idea saraidan! Hey let me know how it works out! Ooo I am so excited! I love this!

Definately wait to see him, It just a couple days away. Give him a father's day card. The look on his face will be priceless. Or do what another person suggested, take a pregnancy test and give it to him. He will be surprised.

CONGRADULATIONS! I am so happy for you! I think your should write down the emotions that you are feeling on a piece of paper, but wait till He comes home. That way you get to see his face when you tell him! Putting your emotions and excitement on papere is a great way to wait for him. You can tell hiim and let him read the letters. It's gonna be Hard but definitly wait to tell him in person. It will be a great moment for both of you, then he'll have something to talk about with his friends(if he is going back). But yes wait and tell him, it's only 3 days.

My Hubby is a Marine and I waited to tell him on the day of the Marine Corps Bday Ball (cause it's a special day for him). I told him by making a "scrapbook" book with the last page saying "I love you Daddy." We went to the ball and he told EVERYONE, his whole command that we were pregnant. So I'd really wait for that special day, like Father's day to tell him of your good news. It's a father's day he would't forget!

can you e mail him? just tell him you have a surprise for him then tell him first thing when you see him maybe get a baby name book and hand it to him he will know what you mean then you can spend the weekend going through the book
