My boyfriend and I have recently started sleeping with one another, and I have noticed that I urinate more frequently and it's getting increasingly harder to control it. Is this normal? What should I do?

You should always empty your bladder before and after intercourse. That should help with the urgency

Yes abnormal. Now not to freak you out but you could have a UTI or an STD Clymidia (sp) can cause an increase in urination. It can also cause spotting after sex. Usually if your partner has it it could take up to 14 days for you to notice if you are syptomatic Most guys are asymptomatic (without symptoms) I wouldnt think that you would be prego cuz bladder control issues are not a problem until late in the pregnancy. Go to the doctor. I had a boyfriend that had it and about 3 weeks after we started having sex i noticed the increase to urinate bla bla bla it is a little embarrassing but hey it is not like i asked for it. Dont let it go for to long cuz if it is an STD you could ruin your reproduction system It is better to be safe than sorry good luck
