My main goal in a job is: make a lot of money (such as being able to own a ferrari), and spend a lot of time with my family since i know this is quite an issue these days.
so pretty much i want to live the high(er) life and i know i can work hard to get there, so plz post jobs that you know would be good for me.

hey Tad!

Well I can give you an example from my own life. After school I started at a large consulting firm as a Junior Consultant (60k per year). After working that position and impressing the management for a year I had been promoted twice and was by then a Senior Consultant (110k per year). I realized how much money there was in the business after a year of working in that position so I quit and started working for myself as an Independant Consultant (275k per year). I built a good reputation off of my first project and more clients than I could handle wanted to hire me so I started a company and hired on three other consultants to help with the work load. I now take 35% of their hourly rates (part of which helps cover overhead) on top of what I make. I'll be making just under 500k this year and I'm only 25.

I guess the moral of the story is that the richest people in the world are those that discover what they are good at and then use those skills to go into business for themselves. It's almost impossible to get rich working for someone else. It's hard to afford the finer things in life working as an engineer or other profession like that. If you want a ferrari you probably should be in the million per year or higher range and the best way to do that is to take your skills and work ethic and start your own business.

Best of luck to you! keep working hard and never lose sight of your goals.

The world is a big place with lots of different jobs. You're only in 8th grade, so you don't necessarily need to think about a specific one yet. However, you do need to make sure that you have a good background so that you can get a great paying job in the future.

Make sure you take plenty of math and science courses in high school. This will help get you into a good college. Plus, math and science is where the high paying jobs of the future are going to be.

If you're the best in your field, you set your own schedule. :)

Engineering is definitely a money-maker. Sounds like you've got the right idea. Another career you might want to consider is something in the medical field...but make sure you pick something you can enjoy doing. Money's no good if you're miserable. Good luck with your hunt.

And McBush want to get an extended line of credit from China. America is really going to love losing its home if China decides to foreclose by calling the loans you already are unable to pay. Taxation 101: If you have to tax people, you tax the ones who can actually pay.

One thing I think you need to realize is that there are lots and lots of professions where making a lot of money is possible. You just have to put your time in, stay focused, and work hard. So, my point is, do what you are interested in and the thing that you think will make you happy. Money is often times a product of just staying focused.
