I am 36 years old. I have three children. The product of their ages equals my age. The sum of their ages is equal to the total number of windows in your house. The eldest of my children has blue hair.
Can anyone guess the individual ages of my kids?

Well this is a puzzle to test your analytical skills. Well as someone asked "How come the number of windows in my house matters?". Well each of the clue here matters and you have to use all the three clues to come to conclusion. 9,2,2 is the correct answer and I'll leave it out to the first guy who answered this correct to put in his views on how he solved it.

first of all, you made a typo: it should be "in our house." and not "in your house." The reason is, it is definitely not true for my house, so I have to assume that it is true for yours :).
Now, what you did is you told us that the sum of the divisors of 36 (cause that is what the ages are) add up to some number. You also gave us more information, because even if we did know the number of windows in your house (the sum of the divisors), there are two different answers possible. Since 13=2+2+9=1+6+6 is the only number with two possible solutions, it must be this one. Since you have an eldest child, we can assume that you don't have two eldest children (and thus don't have twins of age 6). Thus you have an eldest child of age9 and twins of age 2.

Well that would depend on the number of windows in my house lol.
3, 6 and 2?
4, 3 and 3?
9, 2 and 2?
9, 4 and 1?
18, 2 and 1?

I have seen a similar puzzle to this, but the way this one is worded doesn't work. The reason? The line about "the total number of windows in your house" is a definite number, and the answer to your particular question (9, 2, 2) likely does NOT meet that particular test (there are more than 13 windows in my house, for instance).

1) 6, 6, 1 (13 windows?)
2) 6, 3, 2 (11 windows?) who has the blue hair?
3) 4, 3, 3 (10 windows?)
4) 9, 2, 2 (13 windows ? again)
I hope you do not have 13 windows I certainly do not ("your house")
and
5) 18, 2, 1 (21 windows?! that is a nice size house)
6) 9, 4, 1 (14 windows?)

There is no single answer that is correct. There are only four windows in my apartment and there is no way your kids ages can add up to that number. There are also several combinations of ages and windows so your question is flawed.

I have 6 windows in my house and I cannot see how that would affect the outcome of your answer.

x.y.z= 36
9.2.2=36
the number of windows represent the age of the twins(2), and the blue hair (9)
